My clients called us to complete an important honey-do task. They removed carpet from a spare bedroom and needed engineered hardwood floor installation done right away. They just had a baby and hired a nanny to assist with the everyday tasks that come with that. The bedroom floor needed to be completed quickly.
Luckily, the carpet that was there had already been removed. We had to remove the carpet tack strips around the perimeter of the room, remove all remaining staples and nails, level uneven areas and sand down seams.
We then laid down the underlayment, which helps level the floor even more and softens the steps on the final hardwood floor.
Finally, we laid the engineered hardwood planks, including custom cutting lengths and widths. The room was completed and ready for the nanny right when the client needed.
